About Madeleine
I am a student at SciencesPo Paris, the school for French ministers and presidents. It is known as a selective and elitist school, the best for political science in Europe. I worked hard to get in, the academic standards are very high. I am graduating this year with a bachelor's degree in politics and government.
My mother is a French teacher, so I have always been in an environment where literature, reading and French culture in the arts in general were very important.
I gave French lessons to students aged between 8 and 18 in France. Most were French, but for some French was not their mother tongue. I know how to teach people for whom it is not their first language, and I know that is a very different kind of learning.

As my mother is a French teacher, I have lots of teaching resources!
I'm eager to share my native language in an interactive way, as a cultural exchange in addition to academic learning. When I taught French to children and teenagers in France, I always made sure they didn't get bored! Everyone has their own way of learning and connecting with a language. I'm a big believer in fun teaching. I use music, poetry, theatre and other art forms during my lessons.
My lessons are aimed at all levels, and I like to vary my methods and adapt to each person's pace.
