Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?
I teach Italian and it's such an amazing language. I've always been curious about the Roman Empire and their culture. Which led me to Italy. All that history it has and the way they have preserved their history and culture. It made me to explore more and that's how I ended up in an Italian University in Perugia and I did my course in Italian Language and Culture from there.
What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?
It was my friend. She wanted to join a University in Milan. In Italy, there are not many people who speak English. So I started with her and now I'm here.
How does your work help society?
I have come across a lot of people. I consider my students as friends only. I've come across a lot of them who want to work in Italy and take admission in Italian Universities and the knowledge of the language is necessary. So to make it easy for them I teach them the language.
If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
According to me everyone who's giving their best and sharing their knowledge with others are my role models. Teaching is not easy so for me it's everyone who's contributing to help someone to learn.
Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.
I'm a massive football supporter. I've also played Nationals in football. And I'm a massive Atletico Madrid and Napoli fan.
Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?
When you end up doing things that you like. The work just seems like a piece of cake. So always go for things you're interested in and try to make a career out of it.
