About Laura
I am a dedicated educator with 30 years of elementary teaching experience at the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). Born and raised in South Korea, I moved to the US at age 15 and completed my education here, earning a California Teaching Credential and a Master’s in Educational Technology. For the past 6 years, I have served as a Literacy Interventionist, providing targeted, small-group reading instruction to support student growth.

Korean: Learn to read, write, and speak Korean! Master Korean alphabet (Han guel) to read and learn most common words to communicate.
English: learn the basic phonics to advanced phonics to become a better reader. I work with struggling elementary students to improve their reading skills all day.
