About the lesson

Before we start our lessons，
I'd like to know about your Korean level and interests so I can tailor the lessons.
I'd also love to hear why you want to learn Korean.

If this is your first time learning Korean, I'll start by teaching you Hangul(the Korean alphabet).
If you already know Hangul, we'll focus on basic grammar for conversation.
I also offer intermediate, advanced, or professional lessons.

We can practise daily conversation through free speaking.
I'll correct any mistakes or awkward expressions.
No matter what you learn, we'll practise speaking Korean.
Our goal is to have conversations in Korean!
If it's not your goal, please let me know.

Lessons are available in 60, 90, or 120-minute sessions, depending on your preferences.

I have taught 13 students so far, and she is the most passionate about learning Korean. She completed all the homework I gave her every week, memorised all the vocabulary, and studied hard for the TOPIK 2. She was the most rewarding student to teach. During the 9 months we spent together, I believe she made great progress. Although I’m sad she is leaving Australia, I’m confident she will continue to do well.

This first lesson offered with Soo will allow you to get to know each other and clearly specify your needs for your next lessons.

Details

I can travel within 10 minutes by metro, from Castle Hill to Chatswood.
If you live farther away but are still on the metro line, I can come to you for an additional $5.

I usually have lessons at a library.
But we can also study at a cafe, if you prefer.
If you are a woman, we can study at your place. (I'm a woman too.)

I also offer online lessons via Discord at a discounted rate.

If you would like to take group lessons with friends, discounts are available
- 2-person group lessons: 15% off per person
- 3-person group lessons: 20% off per person
- 4-person groupd lessons: 25% off per person

I'm available:
- Monday: 3pm, after 8:30pm
- Tuesday: 8:30am, after 8pm (except the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month)
- Friday evening (depending on schedule)
- Saturday: 6pm or 6:30pm
