Hi! I’m Minjae, a friendly Korean tutor who teaches Korean through real conversations and K-culture. I’ve taught students from many countries and I love helping learners feel comfortable speaking Korean. My lessons are designed to help you learn Korean in a fun, natural, and effective way. I focus on creating a comfortable environment where you can speak confidently and learn at your own pace. Here’s what you can expect in my classes:
1. Conversation-Focused Lessons
You will speak Korean a lot during our sessions—usually 60–70% of the time.
Don’t worry about making mistakes! I encourage you to try, and I provide gentle, immediate feedback on pronunciation, phrasing, and grammar.
2. K-pop & K-drama Based Learning
I often use K-pop lyrics, K-drama scenes, and real-life expressions from Korean shows to teach natural language.
This helps you learn:
• real expressions Koreans actually use
• intonation and rhythm
• cultural nuances
• context-based vocabulary
Learning through content you already enjoy makes the process more fun and memorable.
3. Personalized Curriculum for Your Goals
Whether your goal is daily conversation, travel, pronunciation improvement, or understanding K-content without subtitles, I create a lesson plan tailored specifically for you.
