About Chris
Aloha, my name is Chris. I am a seasoned musician, art therapist, and psychologist from Hawai’i. I have been playing and teaching guitar for over 15 years. I have traveled the world teaching unique art therapy, that teaches how to turn any conflict into an opportunity for growth. I use music to share this method as well so my sessions offer a bit more than just music theory. My goal is to provide each of my clients with knowledge and guidance that will be applicable to their entire life, with or without a guitar in hand. After 15 years of playing and teaching guitar, I’ve developed a simple, practical way to learn quickly — and it only requires practicing and understanding one core concept. Yes, just one. This approach helps you become your own teacher so you can keep growing long after our sessions.
With this method, you’ll learn how to:
• Understand guitar and music theory in a clear, simple way
• Play along with almost any song
• Start writing your own music naturally
• Communicate and connect with others through music — a truly universal language
In our first session, we’ll explore this technique together and I’ll give you fun, personalized exercises to practice afterward. These will help you discover what you naturally enjoy playing and where you want to grow next.
