About Rodimple
Mathematics, Science, Robotics, and STEM Educator
I have been teaching in the Mathematics and Science Department of the University of the East Senior High School since 2017. I graduated in Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE) from the University of the East and am a licensed Electronics Technician. My engineering background allows me to connect mathematical and scientific concepts with practical, real-world applications.
Beyond classroom teaching, I have experience teaching Robotics and STEM subjects, guiding research projects, and mentoring students for Mathematics competitions, quiz bees, and other school-based academic and STEM activities. I also serve as co-adviser of Sigma, the Mathematics Club, where I support students in developing their interest in Mathematics beyond the classroom.
As a private tutor, I work with learners from Grade 3 to college, covering Elementary Mathematics, Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Physics, and Statistics.
My teaching approach focuses on explaining difficult concepts step by step, providing guided practice, and helping students understand the principles behind formulas rather than simply memorize them. I encourage questions, welcome mistakes as learning opportunities, and adjust my lessons to each student's needs and pace.
One of the most rewarding things I hear from former students is that they used to dislike Mathematics and Physics but eventually learned to love these subjects. Seeing my former students pursue their chosen careers, including Physics and Accountancy, inspires me to help more learners discover their abilities and become confident in their academic journey.
I offer online and face-to-face tutoring sessions, subject to schedule and availability.
My goal is simple: to make Math and Science easier to understand, build confidence in every learner, and help students realize their potential.

My Teaching Approach
Making Math and Science Easier, One Lesson at a Time!
Hello! I'm Rodimple “Sir Rod” Rodriguez, a Mathematics and Science teacher at the University of the East Senior High School since 2017. I graduated in Electronics and Communications Engineering from UE and am a licensed Electronics Technician.
My teaching methods
I believe every student can learn with the right guidance and support. I break down difficult lessons into manageable steps, use practical examples, and provide guided exercises to help students understand concepts instead of simply memorizing formulas.
What makes my tutoring different?
One of the most rewarding things I hear from former students is, “Sir, I used to hate Math and Physics, but now I love them!” These experiences remind me that learning becomes more meaningful when students begin to understand difficult concepts and believe in their own abilities.
I am proud to have taught students who have gone on to pursue their chosen careers, including former students who are now a physicist and an accountant. Their journeys inspire me to help more learners discover their potential and approach challenging subjects with greater confidence.
Who can learn with me?
I tutor students from Grade 3 to college in:
Elementary Mathematics
Algebra
Pre-Calculus
Calculus
Physics
Statistics
Whether your child needs help strengthening foundational skills, preparing for exams, or understanding advanced subjects, I tailor my lessons to the student's needs and pace.
Tutoring options: Online or face-to-face sessions, subject to schedule and availability.
