About Rahul
I am a PhD Research Scholar in Operations Research & Decision Sciences at SJMSOM, IIT Bombay (2021–present).
Education — M.Tech in Production Engineering from VJTI, Mumbai (CGPA 9.01/10, ranked first); B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from GCOE, Amravati; HSC 87.08%; SSC 94.73%.
Experience — Visiting Research Scholar, London Metropolitan University (Oct 2024); Teaching Assistant for NPTEL “Business Forecasting,” IIT Bombay’s “Decision Models in Management” (Sep–Nov 2022) and “Business Dynamics & Simulation” (Jan–Mar 2023); industry internships at Inquizity (2019) and Jadhao Gears (2017–2018).
Achievements — peer-reviewed publications in Supply Chain Forum (2023), British Food Journal (2024), and Information Sciences (2025); presentations at EURO 2025 (Leeds), POMS 2025 (Atlanta), and ICORDS 2025 (Manipal), ORSI 2023 (IISC Bangalore); IRCC–IIT Bombay Seed Funding ₹10,00,000 (2023), Institute Travel Grant ₹3,00,000 and ICSSR & ANRF travel grants (2025); Best Paper nomination at ICORDS 2025; Dr. B. Bhandarkar IIIE Award; and first rank in the VJTI M.Tech program.
I want to give knowledge to students about how to learn anything fast and how it will help them in future. I want them to choose the best career path based on their ambitions, knowledge and dreams.
