About Jason
I’m a professional songwriter, producer, recording engineer, and music-business professional. I self-produced, recorded, and released my debut record in high school before studying Recorded Music at NYU’s Clive Davis Institute and later earned a degree in Music Business & Audio Production from MTSU. I’ve written and produced music that has accumulated millions of streams, had #1 releases, and been released by artists and labels. I’ve also received recognition through the John Lennon Songwriting Contest. I bring real-world experience from both the creative and business sides of the music industry into every lesson.

I’m a professional songwriter, producer, and recording engineer, and I’ve been making music for most of my life. So why teach on Superprof? Because I genuinely enjoy helping other musicians make better music. I’ve spent years writing, producing, recording, mixing, and working in the music business, and I’ve learned a lot through both successes and mistakes. My lessons are geared toward musicians, songwriters, and producers who already have some experience and want to take their work to the next level. We’ll work on your actual music and focus on the things that will make the biggest difference — production, songwriting, arrangement, vocal production, recording, mixing, sound selection, and developing your own sound.
