About Cleary

Cleary is a professional composer and sound designer working in game audio who also produces dance music and DJ’s as Kamer.

Since completing his MFA in Composing & Sound Design for Video Games, Cleary has worked as a freelancer and joined Slackjaw Studio as the audio lead.

With experience implementing audio with Wwise, making sound effects with Reaper and creating music with FL Studios, Cleary can share his experience from across the game audio ecosystem.

Videogame Audio:

Learn to record and sculpt exciting sound effects in Reaper that are designed to be used in videogames.

Perfect! He listens and is prepared to work WITH you, your way, and help you learn. I've got Asperger's and use notation, previous teachers have demanded I learn a new DAW if they are going to teach me. But I find them too complicated and they storm off in disgust. Cleary's stuck by me so far and we're pooling our knowledge - his of mixing, mine of my notation DAW - and after 2 lessons it's all gelling well thus far. Got my third with him tomorrow and I'm looking forwards to it!
