About Shreya
I make my guitar sing, and I'll show you how to make yours.
I'm Shreya, a percussive fingerstyle guitarist. I've been playing for 10 years and teaching for 5 years, and I love this style because one guitar can carry melody, bass, and rhythm all at once. That's what I teach: practical technique, built around music you actually want to play.

Imagine playing melody, bass and rhythm on a single guitar, so it sounds like a whole band is in the room. That's percussive fingerstyle, and I've spent 10 years playing it and 5 years teaching it. It looks harder than it is, and I'll show you how to get there, one clear step at a time.
-100% one-on-one: every class is built around your pace and your goals.
-Classes will be conducted online on Zoom or Google Meet.
-Real songs from the start: arranged for your level, not just drills.
-Percussive techniques: slaps, two-hand tapping and body hits that give your playing groove!
-All levels welcome: wherever you're starting from, you'll learn to play like a pro!
Message me with what you'd like to play, and let's build your plan.

I highly recommend Shreya to anyone who wants to learn music through guitar. She is a very talented musician herself and a great teacher who is supportive, hard working, friendly and will always go overboard to help her students. It is an enriching experience to have seen someone like her grow into such a brilliant music teacher.
Great work & highly recommended to all those wanting to learn how to play the strings.View more recommendations
