About Craig
My teaching experience has helped me understand that every student has a different reason for learning music. Some want to perform, some want a creative hobby, and others simply want to enjoy playing their favorite songs.
With a Degree in Music and 8 years of teaching experience, I've worked with children and working professionals at different skill levels. These experiences have helped me create lessons that are flexible and easy to understand.
I enjoy celebrating small achievements because they keep students motivated. Helping someone play a piece they worked hard on is a rewarding moment that makes teaching piano meaningful.

During my piano lessons, students learn in a relaxed environment where each class is adjusted to their pace and goals. I focus on making concepts simple, so learning the instrument feels enjoyable instead of overwhelming.
We'll practise scales, chords, rhythm, finger techniques, hand coordination, sight reading, accompaniment, improvisation, music theory, dynamics, and expressive playing. Lessons may include learning a favourite song, improving a challenging section, or exploring creative ways to make music.
I'll provide easy practice routines, progress discussions, and helpful feedback to guide your improvement. Step by step, you'll build confidence, improve your playing, and feel more comfortable exploring new pieces on your own.
