About Perla
Some of the happiest moments in my work come from seeing students play music they never thought they could. Those moments are special because they show how steady practice really pays off.
After earning my Degree in Music, I've spent 9 years teaching beginners and working professionals. Every student has taught me something new, and that experience has helped me become a more patient and flexible teacher.
I enjoy creating lessons where students feel relaxed enough to ask questions, make mistakes, and keep trying. My hope is that learning piano becomes something students look forward to each week.

Playing the piano should feel enjoyable, even when you're learning something new. Lessons are planned at a pace that suits you, giving you time to understand each idea before moving on to the next one.
We'll explore scales, chords, rhythm, finger movement, hand coordination, sight reading, music theory, improvisation, accompaniment, dynamics, and expressive playing. Some weeks we might spend extra time on one piece because building confidence is more important than rushing through lessons.
Practice becomes much easier when the goals are clear. I'll give you simple exercises and helpful notes after each class, so you can keep improving and enjoy seeing your progress from week to week.
