About Juan Carlos
After teaching for the SFUSD for 28 years and as a retired teacher, I am dedicated to spreading pickleball, a sport I have learned to love in the past 4 years. I played tennis since I was a teenager and found pickleball to be a very engaging sport. I have taken classes to develop my skills and I have competed in tournaments.

3. Teach the Rules
Explain the basic rules, including:
Serve must be underhand and diagonally to the opponent’s service zone.

Scoring only when serving.
Games usually played to 11 points, win by 2.
