About Lauren
Hi, I’m Lauren — a 33-year-old musician and piano tutor based in Liverpool. Music has always been a huge part of my life; I play in several bands, sing in a choir, and love helping others discover their own connection to music. Outside of teaching and performing, I’m a parent to a lively two-year-old who keeps life full of joy and rhythm! I’m also passionate about reading, exercising, and meditation — all of which help me bring calm, focus, and creativity into my lessons. I believe learning the piano should be inspiring and enjoyable, no matter your age or experience. My goal is to create a relaxed, encouraging space where students can grow their confidence, explore their musical interests, and enjoy the process every step of the way.

I’m a passionate piano tutor with 15 years of teaching experience, dedicated to helping students of all ages discover the joy of playing music. My lessons blend strong technical foundations with creativity and expression, ensuring each student builds confidence and musicality. Whether you’re preparing for exams, learning your favourite songs, or starting from scratch, I tailor lessons to your individual goals and pace. My lessons can be 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 60 minutes or 120 minutes depending on your needs. I gained a BAHons in popular music studies at LJM university in 2010, I am grade 8 certified with ABRSM, am fluent in other instruments/theory & am also a member of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Choir.
