About Agnes

Hi, I'm Agnes—originally from Brazil and now living in Australia. I'm a native Portuguese speaker with a background in creative communication, and I'm passionate about helping others connect through language. While I’m new to tutoring, my strengths lie in my ability to listen, adapt, and make people feel comfortable while learning. I understand the challenges of learning a new language, and I’m here to make the experience fun, approachable, and personalized to your goals—whether you're learning Portuguese for travel, relationships, or just for the love of the language. Professionally, I work in a creative leadership role where clear communication and patience are part of my everyday. I bring these same values to my lessons: empathy, encouragement, and structure. I'm committed to creating a supportive environment where you feel confident speaking, asking questions, and growing at your own pace.

About the lesson

Olá! I'm Agnes Martins, and I'm excited to help you learn Portuguese with confidence and joy.

I'm originally from Brazil and now living in Australia, so I understand what it’s like to navigate between languages and cultures. Portuguese is my native language, and I’m passionate about sharing it in a way that feels fun, practical, and tailored to your goals.

With a background in creative communication, I bring patience, curiosity, and a personalised approach to every lesson. Whether you're just starting or looking to build on what you know, I’ll be by your side to make the journey engaging and rewarding.

Let’s unlock the beauty of Portuguese together.
