The Gjen Linberge Approach to English Tutoring

1. My Teaching Method and Techniques.
I don’t teach from rigid, dry textbooks. My method is rooted in Active Communication and Situational Learning. Because I spent three years dealing with real-world conversations in the BPO industry, my techniques focus on how English is actually spoken, not just how it's written. The "Call-Control" Listening Technique: Teaching you how to actively listen to native speakers so you can respond naturally without freezing. Neutralization & Fluency Drills: Friendly, interactive exercises to help you master pronunciation, pacing, and accent clarity. The Judgment-Free Zone: Creating a safe space where making mistakes is treated as a necessary step toward progress.

2. A Typical Lesson Plan (60 Minutes)Every session is structured to maximize your talking time while ensuring you walk away with practical skills. 1. The Icebreaker & Warm-Up: 10 Minutes. A casual, friendly chat about your day or a fun topic to shake off any nervousness and get your brain thinking in English.
2. Target Skill Introduction: 15 Minutes. Focusing on a specific real-world scenario (e.g., introducing yourself, ordering food, expressing an opinion, or handling a professional conversation). 3. Interactive Roleplay: 20 Minutes. Putting the skill into practice immediately. We will simulate real-life interactions, allowing you to use your new vocabulary in real time. 4. The 'Gjen Linberge' Feedback Loop: 15 Minutes. A supportive wrap-up where we highlight your wins of the day and gently fine-tune your pronunciation or grammar based on our roleplay.
