About Mehul
I am Research and Innovation professional working for large MNC' R&D Unit for last 20+ years. Through out my career, I have been involved in solving real world business challenges using emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things(IOT). I have worked with Scientists, Academia (For 5+ years was embedded in IIT-Bombay's research lab), Startups and Incubators on one hand and Global Enterprises and Business leaders on the other side. As part of this journey, I have lived and experienced the Innovation lifecycle and applied various thinking and analysis tools and techniques.
I am also strongly inspired by the Waldorf education pedagogy and have been studying their philosophy, pedagogical approaches and techniques.
I strongly believe that creativity and better thinking is a skill that can be trained. We need to make these tools and techniques should be made available to kids in an age appropriate manner.
By education, I am BE (Chemical Engineering) and Post Graduate Diploma in Advance Computing.

Learning and growth of an individual broadly depends on Information, Intellect and Application. Our schooling and family environment traditionally focuses predominantly on Information (actually Information overload in this day of Internet) and to some extent Intellect (IQ and EQ nourishments through body and mind programs). However, practical world revolves around Application of Information and Intellect around real world scenarios. Application of Information and Intellect is a skill which requires regular training and sharpening. Training in Application is merely reduced to 'Project Works' in schools. However, to begin with, what is needed is to improve our skills for better observation, thinking and analysis. Scientists and professionals have come up with various approaches (e.g., Lateral Thinking by Edward de Bono, Design Thinking paradigm etc.). However, most of us learn these skills only until we are well into our professional lives. There is a strong need to teach and sharpen the observation, thinking and analysis skills for kids for their holistic growth.
As part of the class we involve
(a) Stimulating activities, puzzles, games and challenges
(b) Thought provoking discussions around open-ended and vague scenarios where there are no right and wrong answers
(c) Hands-on activity to create something of their own (that may last few weeks/months)
As part of these activities introduce them to tools and techniques for better thinking and analysis (e.g., Design Thinking, Six Hat and so on)
