About Abhi
I am an experienced professional from Civil Engineering background and efficient user of Primavera P6 software. I worked as a Planning Manager since last 7 years with overall 10 years of total experience in Megaprojects in the Construction industry in Qatar, Ethiopia and India. Presently I am doing my Masters in Construction Engineering and Management from a well reputed University in Montreal, QC, Canada.

My teaching method and techniques are as follows:
1. I will teach the basic approach of Primavera P6 and the usefulness of this software in the modern construction industry. Because, I believe that it is very important to understand the practical application of this soft skill prior to go into details.
2. We will begin from creating a Project using this software and will move forward with Project Calendar, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), assigning activities, link & logics establishments. Then we will practice with some real project examples until you have the complete understanding for the same.
3. Next we will learn how to assign project resources, recourse allocation, productivity calculation and details.
4. Then we can move forward with the basic knowledge about cost estimation, cost allocation and assigning project costs for each activities.
5. I will explain how to develop a S-Curve and Histograms for project recourses and costs as well. Again we will experience some real issues for construction projects and develop end to end baseline program for the same.
6. Then we will learn about project monitoring techniques and real time update on the Baseline Schedule with actual work-done quantity. Therefore, we will have clear idea about Plan vs Actual progress curves.
7. Finally, I can say these will be the basic milestones for Primavera P6. However, there are lots of detail learning to offer for this course.
