About Jackson

Hey! My name is Jackson, I'm a producer and DJ based out of Los Angeles. I’ve been producing my own music and DJing for over 7 years now, and have been teaching private lessons professionally for 4 years (Guitar Center, Berklee tutoring program, and my own Independent students). I specialize in Heavy bass music and EDM genres such as Trap, Dubstep, Drum and Bass, and House. I’ve opened as a DJ for major artists such as Crankdat, Carnage, Jackal and Morgan Page, and have built an artist project from the ground up, steadily releasing original tracks and remixes over the last several years. I graduated from Berklee College of Music with a BA in Electronic Production and Design.

Whether you’re completely new to producing, or you’re intermediate and looking to reach that next level, I will work with you to achieve your musical goals and create a lesson plan that is right for you. Finding your way in the music industry as a beginner can be tricky, and it helps to have insider knowledge and guidance from the get go, so you can waste less time digging through Youtube tutorials and more time actually learning the important stuff. I will give you a clear direction on what you need to do to and when, so you can focus on your artistry instead of learning everything the hard way like I did.

Subjects I cover:
- Producing tracks from scratch in Ableton Live
- Mixing and Mastering
- Sound design
- Creating remixes and bootlegs
