About Vira

I have over 5 years of experience tutoring Computer Programming and hold a BSc in Computer Science. I specialise in supporting high school students preparing for IGCSE and A-Level exams. My lessons combine theory, live coding, and hands-on exercises. Students develop confidence and mastery in core topics such as Variables, Loops, Functions, and Object-Oriented Programming. I incorporate past paper exercises and coding challenges to ensure exam readiness. Lessons are structured, paced, and adapted to each student’s learning style. I emphasise logical reasoning, problem-solving, and debugging techniques. Complex coding topics are broken into clear, manageable steps. Students are encouraged to explore concepts creatively and critically. Lessons are interactive, practical, and focused on understanding. Confidence grows as students tackle progressively challenging exercises. I make programming approachable, enjoyable, and rewarding. Together, we transform abstract concepts into real coding skills. My goal is to help students succeed academically and practically.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology focuses on understanding programming concepts through visualisation and practical exercises. Students observe code execution and algorithms in action to understand how programmes work. Topics covered include Variables, Loops, Functions, Object-Oriented Programming, Algorithm Design, Recursion, and basic Web Development. Lessons combine live demonstrations with clear, step-by-step explanations. I provide dedicated support to Future Developers and Logical Thinkers, helping them gain confidence in foundational programming skills. Students practise writing, testing, and debugging code regularly. Exercises reinforce problem-solving, computational thinking, and logical reasoning. Real-world examples make abstract concepts practical and understandable. Creativity is nurtured alongside structured learning. Lessons are paced according to each student’s needs and understanding. Together, we turn difficult programming concepts into achievable skills. Consistent practice ensures mastery of coding fundamentals. Students gain confidence and independence. My goal is to guide learners to excel academically and practically.
