About Ashmita

Hello! I'm Ashmita, a Master's student in Psychology at the University of Delhi with a deep passion for understanding human behavior and helping others learn. Ever since I began studying psychology, I have been fascinated by how scientific knowledge can make a real difference in people's lives. My long-term goal is to build a career in psychology, where I can contribute through research, teaching, and mental health advocacy.

Teaching is something I genuinely enjoy because I believe knowledge becomes more meaningful when it is shared. I know that psychology can sometimes feel overwhelming, filled with theories and terminology, but with the right guidance, it becomes an incredibly interesting and relatable subject. I love helping students experience that moment when a difficult concept finally makes sense.

As someone who has consistently excelled academically and has experience tutoring students one-on-one, I understand the challenges of learning and exam preparation. My aim is not just to help you score better but to help you develop a genuine understanding and appreciation of psychology. I strive to create a friendly, supportive, and judgment-free learning environment where you feel comfortable asking questions, thinking critically, and growing with confidence.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is centered on conceptual clarity, interactive learning, and individualized support. Rather than encouraging rote memorization, I focus on helping students understand the "why" behind every concept through real-life examples, discussions, case studies, and visual explanations. I adapt my teaching style to each student's pace, learning preferences, and academic goals.

A typical class begins with a brief review of previous concepts, followed by a structured explanation of the new topic. Throughout the session, I encourage questions and discussions to ensure active participation. We conclude with a quick recap, practice questions, and exam-oriented tips to reinforce learning and improve retention.

What sets me apart is my patient, approachable, and supportive teaching style. As a current Master's student in Psychology, I understand the challenges students face and explain complex theories in a simple, relatable, and engaging manner. My goal is to help students build confidence, think critically, and develop a genuine interest in psychology.

My classes are ideal for undergraduate psychology students, as well as school students who are studying psychology or are interested in exploring the subject. I also help students prepare for assignments, semester examinations, and strengthen their overall understanding of the discipline.
