About Sanlap
I am a passionate vocalist and music educator with over 11 years of continuous learning and practice in Indian music.
I hold the Sangeet Bhushan (Final / 3rd Year) degree from Prachin Kala Kendra, Chandigarh across Indian Classical Vocal, Rabindra Sangeet, and Nazrul Geeti.
Having dedicated more than a decade to riyaaz and classical training, I understand the nuances of voice modulation, swara clarity, and emotional expression. My goal is to pass on this rich musical heritage to aspiring singers in a patient, methodical, and engaging manner. Whether you are starting from scratch or looking to refine your vocal skills, I am here to guide you step-by-step on your musical journey.

My classes are designed for students of all age groups, from complete beginners to intermediate learners who want to build a strong foundation in singing.
What we cover in our lessons:
Basic Hindustani Classical Vocal: Voice culture (Swarsadhana), Alankars, Palte, basic Thaats, and introducing foundational Raagas with Harmonium.
Rabindra Sangeet: Learning songs with proper Swaralipi (notations), correct pronunciation, rhythmic clarity, and emotional expression (Bhab).
Nazrul Geeti: Raag-based Nazrul Geeti, intricate nuances, Taals, and breath control.
Harmonium & Rhythm Support: Basic accompaniment, understanding beat/rhythm (Taal & Laya), and vocal stability.
Each student gets individual attention according to their learning pace. Classes are interactive, friendly, and structured to make learning music enjoyable and confidence-building.
