About Erika

Ciao! I'm Erika, born and raised in Italy, with a degree in Languages and a certification as an Italian interpreter. Perth was my home for several years, and it's where teaching Italian became my main profession, privately and with Italian schools across Australia. I've recently moved back to Italy, but my heart (and most of my students!) are still in Australia, so I teach online at times that work perfectly for WA.
For you, my move is good news: your lessons come with the Italian that's spoken here right now, fresh stories from daily life in Italy, and first-hand tips for when you finally take that trip (and some pics as extra!).

About the lesson

My lessons are relaxed, fun and shaped entirely around you.
Whether you're starting from zero, brushing up before a holiday, or reconnecting with your family's roots, we'll find the pace and style that suits you.
I focus a lot on speaking from day one — confidence grows by using the language, not just studying it — and I'll gently help you with the tricky parts until they click. All my materials are made by me and included for free: videos, role plays, short stories, articles, and homework only if you want it.
Beginners get a clear path to follow; more advanced students get real conversation about real Italian life.
Afternoon and evening times available for Perth and WA students.
Come and try a free lesson — worst case, you'll learn a few words of Italian and hear a good story about Italy!
