About Elisabeth

Hi! I'm Elisabeth from Colombia, and I wonder:

What will we talk about in our first lesson? Music, travel, science, or maybe even your favourite anime?

Do you know what I love most about teaching? Every student brings a unique story, a different culture, and their own way of seeing the world. To me, teaching Spanish is about so much more than sharing my native language. It's about connecting with people, exchanging knowledge, and discovering new perspectives together.

I'm a curious, creative, and naturally talkative person! I love science, music, art, video games, anime, languages, cats, and meeting new people. I'm always excited to discover something new, explore different ideas, and learn from others.

I speak English fluently and I'm currently learning Italian, so I understand firsthand the challenges of learning a new language, from the frustration of not finding the right words to the excitement of finally having a conversation.

What matters most to me is getting to know you and understanding what motivates you to learn Spanish. I want you to feel comfortable expressing yourself, asking questions, making mistakes, and discovering just how much you're capable of achieving.

After all, I believe learning a language doesn't just change the way we speak, it changes the way we see the world.

I'd love to meet you, hear your story, and be part of your Spanish-learning journey!

See you in class!

About the lesson

I have over six years of experience teaching Spanish, conversational English, and other subjects, working with students of different ages, backgrounds, and learning levels, from young children to older adults.

Throughout my teaching journey, I've helped children take their first steps in reading and writing, and supported students in developing their communication skills and expressing themselves with greater confidence.

One of my greatest strengths is helping students overcome their fear of speaking and making mistakes. I know that sometimes the biggest challenge isn't a lack of knowledge, but finding the confidence to put that knowledge into practice. That's why I strive to create a welcoming environment where you can ask questions, make mistakes, and learn without feeling judged.

My lessons are interactive, practical, and completely personalised. I love incorporating real-life situations, visual materials, music, games, and engaging activities that make learning both meaningful and enjoyable.

I also enjoy going beyond everyday questions! I'm passionate about exploring interesting topics, encouraging curiosity, and creating thought-provoking conversations where you can share your ideas, experiences, and opinions.

Everyone learns differently, and that's what makes teaching so exciting! Whether you're taking your very first steps in Spanish or looking to develop more advanced conversational, academic, or professional skills, I'll adapt our lessons to your interests, goals, and learning pace.

My goal is simple: to help you enjoy the learning process, recognise your progress, and feel confident using Spanish beyond the classroom.

I can't wait to discover what we'll learn together!
