About Eva Cristina
Buenos días, I am a native Spanish speaker and a qualified secondary school teacher in Modern Foreign Languages by the Institute of Education, UCL. I also have a Masters in Applied Linguistics (distinction) and 8 years tutoring experience, teaching children of all ages as well as teenagers and adults. I work at a secondary school in Essex teaching Year 7 to Year 13 and I have taught both the AQA and Edexcel curriculum. I am very passionate about my job, especially the cultural side of learning a language and I believe this is quickly noticeable in my teaching style. I aim to make my private lessons as engaging as possible by ensuring that there is variety in the activities, and I tailor them to the students' needs and interests. Thanks to my previous experience both working in schools and tutoring I have a wide range of resources available, meaning I can really focus on what each individual student needs. I am available for after school and weekends tutoring, as well as occasional exam preparation lessons. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions and I will do my best to help!
