About Angie

Hello! My name is Angie, and I’m a passionate and creative Spanish tutor with experience as a preschool teacher and over 8 years working with children. I believe learning should be joyful, natural, and full of creativity. I’m a very patient person, and I love finding fun, artistic, and engaging ways to teach Spanish—through games, songs, art, and real-life conversation. As someone who has also learned a second language, I understand how overwhelming it can feel at the beginning. That’s why I work hard to make my lessons feel spontaneous and encouraging—never pressured. My goal is to help students feel confident, supported, and excited to learn. Whether you're just starting out or helping a child begin their Spanish journey, I’m here to make it a positive and rewarding experience every step of the way.

About the lesson

As a Spanish tutor with over 8 years of experience—especially working with children—I believe that learning a language should be a joyful, creative, and engaging experience. My lessons are designed to make students feel comfortable, confident, and excited to learn.

I use a variety of interactive methods such as games, music, pictures, conversations, art, and cultural topics to bring the Spanish language to life. My goal is not only to teach vocabulary and grammar but also to create a fun and memorable learning environment where students enjoy every moment.

A typical lesson includes:

Introduction of a theme (like colors, feelings, or family)

Practice through activities like drawing, singing, storytelling, or role-play

A short review or reflection to reinforce what we learned
