About Rafaella
I’m a native Spanish speaker born in Uruguay, South America. I’m very interested in the different accents, words and phonics that we use throughout the region. Although in Uruguay and Argentina we speak a variant of Spanish called “Castellano” (yes, our “ll” sounds like “sh”), it is great to know other sounds and pronunciations to be able to communicate effectively with any Spanish speaking person, regardless of where they come from. Making friends from different countries in Latin America allowed me to learn many words and concepts that are useful when having a conversation, and definitely enriched my language skills.
