About Lauren

Graduated in Modern Languages (English, French and Italian) I had the opportunity to share my knowledge with audiences of all ages, not just teaching Spanish but other languages like English and French, face-to-face and even remotely. In my home country, Venezuela, I had the opportunity to learn at the junior and teenage levels at the Alliance Française where I also studied French for a few years. Afterwards, I was called directly from the university where I obtained my language diploma to train large groups of adults in the French language as well. It was my beginnings that marked in an important way my own way of transmitting my knowledge. This allowed me to consider the teaching of languages from various points of view in order to make them more accessible to others. Then, thanks to hard work, my horizon widened and during a few stays in Colombia, language academies allowed me to learn from groups of students, at the same time I had my own students from all over the country. through distance learning classes. At the time, I first ventured into distance education. It changed my life, I reinvented myself once again in relation to the accessibility of content and resource material; my students in China and Australia were my motivation. A little over 4 years ago since the first day I became a language teacher, from that moment on, I acquired a lot of knowledge that could be translated into experience. WARNING ! Taking into account the current context, for the moment, the courses will take place only on the modality of the videoconference (Skype / ZOOM).

About the lesson

Personally, I find that learning a language should be done in the most natural and pleasant way possible, which will allow the student to be encouraged to follow his/her studies with motivation, regularity and, of course, passion. All this is possible with your own discipline, but also with the appropriate support. My methodology is based on the principle of respect and love for the language you wish to learn (in this case, I am offering you Spanish because it is my original language, nevertheless teaching Spanish. English is one of my other areas); As a personal experience, it has allowed me to understand and benefit from every process that takes place when acquiring knowledge of a language. Precisely today, I am offering you … 1. Classes that adapt to your needs, together we will be able to set short and long term goals. (from now on we will become a team). 2. I am ready to always offer you good ideas that serve as fuel to pursue your goals. 3. Languages are linked to the countries where they are spoken, and also their cultures are also an important part of this learning, which obviously encompasses many aspects. Do you want to live or visit a Spanish-speaking country? Or do you even study in connection with the Spanish language? I have good news for you, Spanish is my original language, that's great! Right? Thanks to the global influence of this language, one should be familiar with all that it represents. 4. We cannot ignore tools that play a fundamental role in the progress of a class. Audiovisual and written resources will thus be present as dialogues on informal conversations using examples from everyday life.
