As someone who has literally spent the majority of her life learning English and eventually became fluent, I am confident that I can help you to learn Mandarin in the most efficient way, by focusing the majority of lessons on speaking. One thing that I noticed is that the Mandarin taught on textbooks is quite different from what people actually say in real life, that’s why I will be covering idioms, useful conversational phrases, slangs, cyberspeak and even memes viral on social media so that you get the real flavour of Mandarin Chinese. English and Chinese are so different, it’s easy to get bogged down in grammatical rules, syntax and compositions that exist in one language but not the other. I will do my best to unravel the similarities between Mandarin and English, help you to have a solid understanding of Chinese grammar, walk you through the basics, share with you practical advices, tips and shortcuts so that you can make progress quickly!
