About Patrick
I’m a TEFL-certified ESL Tutor.

My clients are students and professionals who want to express complex ideas and communicate clearly in English.
I hold a BA in Cultural Anthropology and Social Psychology and have over 8 years of experience as an English tutor. I combine coaching with creative approaches to build grammar, discussion skills, and strong learning habits.
Outside of teaching, I’m an avid rock climber and a student of Instructional Design, adult learning theory, and Thai language and culture. I’m passionate about language, learning, and human connection.

When traveling in Thailand, knowing even a little of the language can greatly improve your experience. Simple communication with locals opens doors and makes everyday situations much easier and more enjoyable.
I can also share what I’ve learned about living in Thailand. Many people today are curious about moving to a country with a lower cost of living and a less stressful lifestyle. I can help you understand the practical side of life here, including culture, daily life, and what it takes to relocate and build a healthier, more balanced life in Thailand.

Perfect! Literally the best language tutor I have ever had in my life and I've studied 4 languages. Pat is such a thoughtful and patient teacher and is willing to take the little "why's that?" side trips my ADHD brain always wants to take. Cannot recommend this guy highly enough. Can't wait to visit Thailand again and take more lessons in person! Kap khun maak maak krub!
