About Akash

I am a data science consultant at Deloitte. I have more than 5 years of teaching experience in Python machine learning and data science. I was teaching my juniors when I was in college. I have a degree in B.Tech. Information Technology. I focus on the practical aspect of Data Science and starting from the very basics which is core. I have various certifications in Python programming, Data Science, ML, AI, and IoT from Google, IBM, and Michigan University. My college project includes a combination of AI and IoT. I have 3 research papers in these fields.

About the lesson

My way of teaching is the same as I have learned the things and that is practical oriented. I start with the basics and build the course. I also add a visualization in the methodology for better understandings of the topic.

Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?
Python programming and machine learning has been my favourite subjects since I have started learning it. I was always fascinated about the automated things. You can fulfill all your dreams using python and machine learning. It also has database connectivity so I learnt that too(SQL and MySQL). Do whatever you want in very few line of code and no time. You can use Arduino programming also for automating anything you want. This is how I developed the interest in the above points.
What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?
When I was leaning there was always difficulty to find quality content on the internet. Also there was any platform for individual learner to help. Then I got to know about Superprof and I decided to teach here.
How does your work help society?
Teaching individuals always help to grow them. Students from all over the world come on this platform requesting the classes. So its doesn't only help that individual to learn and grow but it also helps the society to grow because every individual is related to some society.
If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
Role model for my work would always be myself. Because believe in me. Rather than This i love some work from the scientists like Einstein, Nikola Tesla, and Stephen Hawkins. Because of these guys I have developed interest in astro physics, particle physics and quantum physics. I would love to apply my machine Learning technology in these fields.
Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.
I love to hit the gym. Besides teaching I spend some time in gym and I also love playing cricket, watch movies (Sci-Fi), and cooking.
Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?
Most of the students when first hear about machine learning, they think that either we are going to learn the machines or we are going to teach machines like humans. Almost 80 percent of the students tend to think this way.
