About Dorothy
I'm a certified swim coach who honestly loves being in the pool and helping people master the water. My background spans years of competitive swimming, lifeguarding, and teaching everyone from toddlers taking their first splashes to adults conquering their fears. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Everyone learns differently, so I keep my lessons relaxed, patient, and completely tailored to how you move. For me, nothing beats the buzz of watching a student finally click with a stroke, build real confidence, and genuinely enjoy swimming.

Every lesson focuses entirely on your personal comfort, safety, and progress in the water. I design structured yet highly flexible sessions for children learning their very first splashes, as well as adults aiming to refine advanced stroke techniques and build serious endurance.We always begin by establishing absolute water confidence and mastering essential breathing techniques. From there, we naturally progress to efficient kicking drills, coordinated arm movements, and full stroke mechanics like freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke.Your lessons will take place in a completely safe, positive, and supportive environment. This encouraging atmosphere allows you to learn at your own comfortable pace without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.
