About JESSAMAE FABIAN
Hello! I’m a passionate and dedicated Tagalog tutor who believes that learning a new language should be a comfortable, enjoyable, and rewarding experience.
I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Development Communication, where I continue to develop my communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. I am patient, approachable, and committed to helping my students learn at their own pace.
Whether you are a complete beginner or already know some Tagalog, I will create lessons based on your goals and learning needs. We can focus on everyday conversations, vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, or Filipino culture.
My goal is not only to teach you Tagalog but also to help you feel confident using it in real-life situations. I will guide you step by step, encourage you to practice, and create a welcoming space where you can learn without being afraid of making mistakes.

Teaching Method and Techniques
My teaching approach is friendly, patient, and student-centered. I believe that learning a new language should be comfortable and enjoyable. I use simple explanations, practical examples, conversations, and repetition to help students understand and remember Tagalog. I also encourage students to practice speaking because using the language in real-life situations is one of the best ways to learn.
Typical Lesson Plan
A typical lesson starts with a short review of what we learned previously. Then, we will introduce new Tagalog words, phrases, or grammar concepts. After that, we will practice through conversations, examples, and simple activities. At the end of the lesson, we will have a short review and speaking practice to help you apply what you learned.
What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor
As a Bachelor of Science in Development Communication student, I have developed communication skills that help me explain ideas clearly and interact with different people. I am also patient and willing to adjust my teaching style based on each student's needs and learning pace. I want my students to feel comfortable making mistakes because I believe mistakes are an important part of learning.
