About Matthew
Hi, I’m Matt Lambert. Originally from Yorkshire, where I started playing the saxophone as an eight year old, I am now London based having graduated in Jazz saxophone at Trinity Laban Conservatoire in Greenwich.
Highlights of my career to date include performing as part of the Lazy Snacks band at the El Dorado and Gone Wild Festivals, supporting Scouting for Girls at the Priory Festival and playing in the National Youth Jazz Orchestra tour with Strictly vocalist Tommy Blaize. I have also performed jazz gigs at established London jazz clubs such as the Vortex Jazz Club and the legendary Ronnie Scott’s in Soho.
I am now regularly teaching in the London area, alongside launching my work with my jazz quartet and performances at weddings and private parties
