About Johanna
The best way for a student to truly capture the essence of the Spanish language is to explore the various cultures that exist within the community, as someone who is both Mexican and Guatemalan, this connection process will be easier for students as they'd have an experienced person to teach them the most significant aspects of these cultural lifestyles. During my freshman year of high school, I took a Native Spanish class and excelled so much that I was given the opportunity to skip Native Spanish 2 my sophomore year and skip straight to AP Spanish Language and Culture. I obtained a 5 on the AP exam and have been helping family and friends with their Spanish work ever since.

I am a student tutor who is willing to put in as much time as students need in order to fully comprehend any material and content that is covered. Students will not have to worry about taking up too much time, not knowing enough, and won't have to worry about being judged in any manner!
We would first take a placement exam to see how much help the student needs and in which departments.
We would then move on to the areas where the students most need help, and go through processes like learning to read, right, and audibly distinguish linguistic aspects.
These lessons are open to anyone who needs help with either learning the language or anyone who wants to expand their vocabulary/field of knowledge, anyone from any age is welcome! Including elementary children, all the way to elderly folk.
