About Matt
I graduated from the University of New Haven in 2013 from the University of New Haven with a Bachelors of Science degree in Forensic Science with a concentration in chemistry. I was hired as a Forensic Scientist by the Massachusetts State Police in September 2013. I have since worked on over 2000 assignments, responded to over 300 crime scenes, and testified in criminal court over 50 times.

I use the same training lessons and structure that I was trained on to become a full time case working analyst. I don't focus on the science. I focus on the application of the science, the logic behind decision making, and what the evidence means to investigators.
It is an unfortunate truth that anyone can learn the science part of forensics. However, not everyone can use that knowledge and apply it to real life scenarios and forensic investigations. Will that be you?
