I've been playing guitar for over 20 years, but I never took the time to study music theory properly—and I now realize how much I was missing. Tamryn has been an incredible tutor. She's friendly, easy-going, and very professional. What really stood out to me is how clearly she explains the concepts. She broke down the basics of music theory in a way that was both simple and complete—exactly what I needed.

Her lessons have made a huge difference, especially in my singing (where we focused). I’m still no great singer, but now I understand things that I never quite grasped before, and that’s given me the confidence to sing while playing guitar—especially around a fire on the beach with friends, which is something I truly enjoy.

I had the joy of having Tammi teach all three of my children guitar, both in person and online. To say she has been absolutely wonderful is an understatement! She brings such a fun, friendly energy to every lesson and truly knows how to tailor her teaching style to suit each child’s unique personality and level. She also taught my daughter piano online. It’s been amazing to watch my kids grow in confidence and skill under her guidance. Highly, highly recommend!

Since i've been working with Tammy my guitar , piano and voice skills have improved like never before. I'd been playing both instruments for many years but i never felt confident at playing or singing in public. Tammy has helped me find my voice with simple yet effective advice. After 2 years of regular classes, i can now play and sing over 15 of my favorite songs in public with confidence. She just knows how to make learning a fun experience, and how to explain music theory in a way that is accessible. She understood what i needed from the start in order to get to the next level. I might even want to get on a real stage soon (;

Tamryn makes learning music a magical experience, not only for the extensive knowledge she has of music but also for being passionate about it. I have always wanted to learn how to play an instrument and sing, but thought that it was “too late” she completely changed that and made me achieve what was a dream of mine since childhood. Tamryn is a truly exceptional music teacher. She gives percussion lessons to my 9-year-old son Makai and general music lessons to my 7-year-old daughter Jamilia. What sets her apart is the way she deeply tunes into each child, listening to their interests and weaving them into playful, creative lessons. Her warmth, talent, and intuitive approach have made music a true joy for both of my kids — they absolutely love her and have grown so much thanks to her guidance.
