About Melika

Hi! I'm Melika, an Architecture student with a strong passion for languages, communication, creativity, and meeting people from different cultures.

I grew up in Turkey, which is why Turkish has been a natural and important part of my life from a young age. Although Persian is my native language, I speak Turkish fluently and naturally, and I also speak English at an advanced C1–C2 level. I currently study Architecture at an English-speaking university, so I use English regularly in my academic and everyday life.

I am a friendly, patient, and easy-going person, and I really enjoy communicating with people and helping them feel comfortable. I understand that speaking a new language can sometimes feel intimidating, so I want my lessons to be a place where you can make mistakes, ask questions, and improve without feeling embarrassed or pressured.

Outside of languages, I enjoy architecture, art, designing, traveling, and learning about different cultures. I would love to share my knowledge of Turkish and help you become more confident not only in understanding the language, but actually using it in real-life situations.

Whether you are starting Turkish from zero or simply want to become more fluent and comfortable speaking, I would be happy to learn and improve together with you!

About the lesson

My approach to teaching Turkish is friendly, practical, and personalized. I grew up in Turkey and speak Turkish fluently and naturally, just like a native speaker. Persian is my native language, and I also speak English at an advanced C1–C2 level. I currently study Architecture at an English-speaking university, so I am very comfortable communicating and explaining concepts in English.

My lessons are especially suitable for English-speaking students who want to learn Turkish in a comfortable and easy-to-understand environment. I can explain Turkish grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and everyday expressions clearly in English when needed, while helping students gradually become more confident speaking Turkish.

My teaching method is adapted to each student's level and goals. I combine conversation practice, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, listening, and real-life situations. Rather than focusing only on memorizing rules, I want my students to actually use Turkish and feel comfortable speaking it.

A typical lesson begins with a short conversation or review of the previous lesson. We then focus on a specific topic, grammar point, or vocabulary set, followed by practical exercises and conversation practice. I like using realistic situations such as travelling, ordering food, shopping, meeting people, university life, and everyday conversations.

What sets me apart is my combination of languages and cultural experience. Growing up in Turkey while speaking Persian at home has given me a strong understanding of both languages and cultures. My advanced English also allows me to communicate easily with international students and explain difficult Turkish concepts in a clear and simple way.

My lessons are suitable for beginners, intermediate learners, and anyone who wants to improve their conversational Turkish. Whether you are learning Turkish for travel, university, work, relationships, daily life, or simply because you love the language, I can adapt the lessons to your personal goals.
