My name is Yagmur, I’m a passionate Turkish tutor with a love for teaching languages and sharing my culture. • Originally from Turkey, I’ve been living in the U.S. for 3 years and I enjoy helping people discover the beauty of the Turkish language. • I have a background in music and teaching, which allows me to bring creativity and structure into my lessons. • Growing up in Turkey, I developed a deep appreciation for the richness of our language and culture, which I now share with my students. • I believe that learning a language should be enjoyable and practical. Perfect! We feel incredibly fortunate to have found Yagmur! She is an absolutely phenomenal tutor who has been guiding our 7-year-old daughter in both Turkish reading and writing, and instilling a joy for playing the piano. Yagmur possesses a rare and wonderful gift for teaching; the genuine connection she has forged with our daughter makes their learning time truly special and effective. It speaks volumes that our daughter genuinely looks forward to her weekend lessons and can't wait to see Yagmur.

When Yagmur began working with our daughter, her Turkish reading skills were quite basic; she could recognize some words but struggled to read a complete sentence. The progress in less than two months has been remarkable! Our daughter is now reading Turkish picture books and has even started writing her own cards in Turkish – a development that has thrilled us. This incredible leap is a direct testament to Yagmur's patient, engaging, and highly effective teaching methods.

We were also delighted to learn that Yagmur is a graduate of a conservatory school, making her an excellent and highly skilled piano tutor.
