About Vera
Hallo! I’m a native German speaker who grew up near Bremen in northern Germany, and I’ve lived in the U.S. for the past 13 years. After finishing a degree in German Linguistics at Humboldt University in Berlin, a graduate degree at Columbia University brought me to New York, which I now call my home. I am passionate about helping learners find their voice in German—whether they’re just starting out or preparing for high-level exams or business interactions. My academic and multicultural background allows me to support students with precision, patience, and cultural awareness.
