About Marissa

I have a bachelor's degree in communications and a post-baccalaureate in Early Childhood Education. I also have experience tutoring and teaching young children reading, writing, and social skills through play-based education. Let’s learn together by playing. We can play puppets, read and act out stories together, do science experiments, play bingo and create travel brochures.

About the lesson

It’s difficult for children to learn these days when teachers can’t compete with students with short attention spans and hours online . I provide fun, engaging lessons for children ages 3 through third grade utilizing a unique approach : games , puppetry , laughter , hands on instruction and get to know my students personally . You are not just a number.
