About Konstantinos
I am a PhD student in History at Koç University, Istanbul. My research focuses on the Greco-Turkish War (1919-1922) and in particular strategic theory. I am interested in Late Ottoman/Early Republican history, war studies, strategic studies, air and sea power and Clausewitzian thought. I am also interested in Ottoman painting and in particular seascapes made by the Military Painters (Asker Resammlar). I hold a Bachelors degree in War & Security Studies from the University of Hull and a Masters degree in Turkish Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS). I am Senior Editor for Strife Blog & Journal, a biannual, peer-reviewed academic periodical publication created and managed by young researchers from the Department of War Studies, King’s College London.
I am only offering online tutoring for the time being.
