About Maitray

I am a singer/guitarist/harmonium player giving classes for 7 years. I can teach you music in a very easy way as I was taught by my guru. Also a performer in Delhi NCR for the last 5 years, you may spot me at your nearest cafe.

About the lesson

Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?
Hey, I am a guitar teacher. And I got my interest in guitar 5 years ago. My father got me a guitar and then I just never left those strings.
What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?
Mr. Amin Tufani, a teacher from Harvard university, is my main motivation behind teaching guitar. He is a teacher at Harvard and his style of playing and teaching students just blow my mind and now I just want to become like him.
How does your work help society?
Well, I am a musician and my work helps people in reliving stress from this stressed life.
If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
I think Amin Toofani is my role model and that is because of his style of playing guitar which just takes me to another world.
Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.
I am a singer professionally and guitar is my favourite companion.
Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?
I don't think I have something like that but yes, I love playing and teaching guitar from my student life to this professional life.
