About Peter
I’m Peter, a BSc Actuarial Mathematics graduate from Dublin City University, offering student-focused and exam-focused math tutoring. I achieved full marks in both Leaving Cert Math papers, giving me a strong understanding of exam technique, marking schemes and how to maximize marks.
My lessons are clear, supportive and tailored to each student’s needs. I focus on past exam questions, common question patterns, step-by-step methods and building confidence. I tutor Junior Cycle, Leaving Cert and early university-level students who want to improve their understanding, exam performance and overall confidence in math.

I’m Peter, a BSc Actuarial Mathematics graduate from Dublin City University, offering maths tutoring for Junior Cycle, Leaving Cert and early university-level students.
My lessons are student-focused and mainly exam-focused. I adapt each session to the student’s needs, with a strong emphasis on exam questions, marking schemes, question patterns and showing clear workings to maximise marks. I explain topics step by step, then help students practise applying the method independently under exam-style conditions.
I achieved full marks in both Leaving Cert Maths papers, giving me a strong understanding of the exam structure and the techniques needed to perform well. I also have a strong academic background in mathematics, statistics, finance and actuarial modelling through my degree.
My lessons are suitable for secondary school students, Leaving Cert students, and early university-level students studying mathematics, statistics, finance or actuarial-related modules.
