About Kate

I know what it feels like to struggle with math. All through primary school and even up until just before the Junior Cert, I found it really difficult. It wasn’t until I realized that math is simply a process that can be learned step by step that things clicked for me. With practice and the right approach, I turned it around and went on to achieve a H1 in Leaving Cert Higher Level Math. Because I’ve been in that position myself, I can explain concepts in a way that makes sense, break problems down into manageable steps, and help students build their confidence. My lessons are patient, supportive, and focused on showing that math doesn’t have to be overwhelming, it can be learned and mastered by anyone.

About the lesson

I am offering math grinds for both Junior and Leaving Cert students. I achieved a H1 in Higher Level Math and can explain difficult topics in a clear and simple way. My lessons are tailored to each student, focusing on building confidence, tackling problem areas, and practicing exam-style questions. Whether you need help catching up, improving grades, or aiming for top marks, I provide patient and supportive guidance. Lessons can cover all areas of the course, including algebra, functions, calculus, trigonometry, and probability, with an emphasis on exam strategies and past papers. Sessions are available online or in person, with flexible times to suit your schedule.
