I have known Eshetu since Dec 2015 in EU ACP TBT international Programme for the support of conformity assessment bodies (CAB) in Ethiopia as international medical laboratory key expert 2 consultant/adviser/teacher on area of QMS and accreditation. I found him a young talented and enthusiastic professional who always commit and work hardly. His unique characters are quick level of understanding of subject matter and communication skill, monitoring and evaluation, managing and planning ability, reporting and so on. He has demonstrable skill on monitoring and evaluation like disease impact assessment where his economic study helped a lot.
We frequently discussed various issues beyond the scope of above project such as national quality infrastructure, laboratory policy and direction, laboratory science such as virus and its pathogen, cancer, obesity, alcohol, diabetics and social and economic, and I was surprised by his remarkable analytical abilities and originality of his ideas.
I found Eshetu also understanding and lecturing of various course such as health economics, statistics, lab science, QMS, ISOs courses, data management, advance MS application programs, calibration, measurement traceability, validation and verification, test method principle, laboratory science special area of quality management system, accreditation process model whereby he has published more than 8 original papers as first author and co-authors on areas of laboratory science, medical and accreditation related papers in peer review journal.
I can confidently said that he is key resource person in Ethiopia and beyond in field of lecturing lab science, health economics, Economics, QMS and accreditation of medical, testing and calibration laboratory. Currently, he is founder and managing director of Africa Quality Consulting Firm PLC, registered private company in Ethiopia.
