About Leon
I hold a Master’s degree in Cyber Security from Dublin Business School and have built multiple real-world security projects, including a cloud-native AWS SIEM, malware and phishing detection systems, browser-based security tools, and a network vulnerability scanner. I’ve worked in Security Operations, where I monitored incidents, performed threat analysis, tuned IDS rules, and carried out vulnerability assessments. My technical background also includes experience with AWS security services, SIEM tools like Splunk and Chronicle, and penetration testing tools such as Nmap, Burp Suite, and Wireshark. I tutor students who want to learn cybersecurity fundamentals, network security, cloud security (AWS), ethical hacking, secure coding, Python scripting, and incident response concepts. I focus on making complex technical topics simple, practical, and easy to understand — whether you’re a beginner, a student preparing for exams, or someone entering the cybersecurity field.
