Find a private SAT tutor in The Bronx

A 2-week study plan can boost your SAT score if you target the right skills from day one.

• Prioritize your weakest sections: Review your practice test results and focus on the question types where you lose the most points.
• Use official practice tests: Take at least one full-length Digital SAT practice test to get familiar with the format and timing.
• Learn time-management strategies: Train yourself to move quickly through easier questions and spend extra time only where it counts.
• Review core math and grammar rules: Focus on the most frequently tested algebra concepts, data analysis, and grammar rules rather than trying to cover everything.

The right tutor can turn two weeks of prep into a significantly higher score by keeping you focused and on track.

A private SAT prep lesson in The Bronx costs approximately $25/h.

The cost depends on:

• Your current score and target score (the gap you need to close)
• The teacher's credentials, expertise, and score improvement results
• The duration and frequency of sessions
• The teaching mode and location of the sessions

Comparing several tutor profiles helps you find the best value for your budget.

A score of 1200 on the SAT is within reach for most students with consistent preparation — it sits right around the national average, which means roughly half of test-takers already reach it.

• Understand the scoring scale: The Digital SAT is scored on a scale of 400 to 1600, with 1200 placing you around the 74th percentile nationally.
• Identify your starting point: Take a full practice test first to see how close you already are and which sections need the most work.
• Target common question types: Focus your prep on the highest-frequency question types in both sections and you'll see results faster.
• Practice under real test conditions: Simulating test-day conditions — timed, distraction-free, with the same calculator rules — helps you perform at your peak when it counts.

The right tutor brings structure, accountability, and proven strategies that make reaching a 1200 feel very achievable.
