About Riffat
More than decade's experience of teaching Science Subjects at Secondary Level (at my home country Pakistan), and Continued Professional Development in UK have equipped me to identify and unlock each individual's unique potential; my job as a tutor is to mentor them find the right key to unlock their potential, empowering them to become self-directed learners. I completely understand the importance of adaptability according to individual needs. Being Secondary Level Science Tutor, my general approach to deliver a lesson starts relating examples from every day life, followed by a 10 to 15 minutes verbal explanation of the topic using step by step drawn visual diagrams , flow charts or incorporating other practical equipment. Then, students are allocated few minutes to go through the recommended book text and ask any misunderstood concepts; this is to increase their bonding, understanding and deep learning. Finally, they are tested in a strategic way keeping in mind their individual needs and learning objectives.
